President: Thomas W. Stallings, CLU, FLMI, AIRC, RHU, ACS, AIAA
Experience: Began in the insurance industry more than 40 years ago. More than 25 years in all facets of life, health and property/casualty sales and marketing. Has been an agent, broker, general agent, Managing General Agent, Agency Secretary, Trainer, Regional Sales VP, and was president of a very successful 5-state insurance marketing organization for 10 years.
Qualifications: Was Market Conduct Officer for a mid-sized mutual life company for seven years. Served on every committee during the formation of Insurance Marketplace Standards Association (IMSA) with the exception of the CEO Task Force. Was a Deputy to the first IMSA Chair and served as Chair of the training committee that introduced IMSA to the insurance industry. Was Chair of the initial Assessor Standards Committee of IMSA. Served on the original committee for the formation of what is now known as the Compliance Section of the ACLI. IMSA Qualified Independent Assessor since 1996.
Industry education: Obtained the FLMI designation in 1974, followed by the CLU, AIRC, RHU, ACS and AIAA designations. Has been a presenter and speaker for LIMRA, LOMA, ACLI and many other trade organizations and companies.
